Attempts by mining industry and state agencies to silence scientists right to free speech continue across the country in alarming ways.  If you know of other cases, please let me know so I can post them here and spread the word about the cases and how they are fought, and hopefully won.  The goal is that civic engagement for a sustainable future will be a stronger force that the social trap of short term economic gain that results in ecological destruction.
